When attending your Acupuncture appointment it’s best to dress in comfortable loose fitting clothing, this will allow your practitioner easy access to Acupuncture points.
in your session you may be required to remove clothing depending on where your practitioner is needling.
We will provided plenty if towels and blankets to keep you covered up and warm.

Acupuncture is very gentle and often has a very mild sensation, some points you may experience more sensation than others, while mild you may experience some bruising and or numbness after the treatment.

Yes, if you have cover for Acupuncture through your private health insurance you can claim through our Hicaps machine straight after your session.
Otherwise we can give you your receipt and you can make a claim manually though your fund.
This however doesn’t cover any prescribed products such as supplements or herbal medicines.

Unfortunately Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture is not covered by medicare.

Each person is different when it comes to Acupuncture treatment, your practitioner will come up with an individualised plan depending on what they believe is the best way to treat your condition.
Acupuncture tends to be most effective with more regular treatments, generally this may mean weekly treatment until you’re feeling better or once we have achieved the desired treatment outcome.
